Client Testimonials
"After 15 years of experience, I have found CBC provides a product that lasts years, can be customized, and provides effective isolation to achieve our high standard in research. The isolators are simple, well made, with customizable options. I would recommend CBC equipment for gnotobiotic work."

"I have been using CBC germfree flexible film isolators exclusively for 14 years. In this time, we have expanded our operations multiple times and CBC has been there to help accomplish these goals as well as design and construct isolators that help us reach our research goals."
Steve Higginbottom, Director of Gnotobiotics
Microbiology and Immunology, Stanford University School of Medicine
"When we planned our gnotobiotic facility at the University of Virginia, we decided to use ionized hydrogen-peroxide as the surface sterilant given that this method had been proven to kill anthrax spores after 15-minutes of contact time. This is unlike the currently accepted methods using chlorine dioxide generating solutions which have sporicidal claims after 18 hours of contact. CBC worked with me to design 3" access ports that would fit the TOMI SteraMist electrical arc-based applicator given that this was not the standard port size used for this purpose. We validated the sterilization of this method in the modified isolators using standard VHP biological indicators and molecular methods using qPCR for bacteria and fungi. We have used this method successfully since 2018 to maintain germ-free colonies as well as defined flora. Thank you, Dave Holland, for helping us be successful."
